The STEMM Opportunity Alliance and our host, the New York Hall of Science (NYSCI), are pleased to invite you to a convening on Achieving STEMM Equity and Excellence in Communities and Schools. The convening will be held at the NYSCI on Tuesday, April 18 from 1:00-5:00 PM ET, with an optional networking reception to follow. The plenary portions of the event will be live streamed.

The convening will feature:

Facilitated workshops providing participants the opportunity to co-construct a national strategy for STEMM equity and excellence, with a particular eye towards the role of community, informal, and out-of-school sectors.
Speakers, keynotes, and panel discussions among leaders on how to turn theory into action, announcing and elevating key initiatives and partnerships aimed at accelerating progress toward STEMM equity.
