Story Collection
SOA invites all current and prospective partners to submit stories of the impacts of their efforts that are aligned to the National Strategy for STEMM Equity and Excellence. The stories will be used to promote the work of our partners and SOA in targeted media campaigns, at in-person events, and through other SOA efforts. We invite you to share any case studies, exemplary programs, or individual impact stories for upcoming and future SOA communications.
We ask that you review this summary table outlining the National Strategy and complete the following form with any stories aligned with the sections of the strategy. (Maximum 250 words per story.) Stories will be collected on an ongoing basis.
Guiding Questions:
Describe how this program/partnership/network affects participants’ lives and/or careers and their ability to succeed in the STEMM ecosystem. Please make sure to specifically identify the target group(s) and location of this work.
What has been the most impactful aspect of the program/partnership/network?
What are the tangible outcomes of individuals’ participation in the program/partnership/network?
How has the program/partnership/network opened any doors for individuals that they may have believed were previously shut or removed or minimized obstacles to their participation in the STEMM ecosystem?
